ガンガーに紙を溶かす・ガンガーで紙をつくる
バラナシ(Ram Chhatpar Ship Nyas 滞在制作) における最初の制作は、この街の中心を流れる川、ガンジス川に滝
澤が日本で漉き、持ち込んだ和紙を溶かすことでした。また後半中心となった作品は、現地の紙素材で、ガンジス
川の中に浸かりながら紙を造る行為から生み出されるものでした。
滞在中には、これら、ガンジス川での紙の仕事やそれらを記録した映像作品の他にも、インド到着時からインドの
手漉き紙文化を探し、わずかに発見された紙をセメントに埋め込んだ作品やコラボレーション作品、ドローイング
等、いくつかの方向から、日本とは異なる状況へのアプローチを試みました。
また、滞在の最後の期間行なわれた、展覧会[GANGA・PAPER](Banaras Hindu University・アートギャラリー) では、滞在制作の過程と結果を提示するため、滞在中の制作物ほとんど全てを日付と共に並べ、展示いたしました。

Title：I made paper while soaking myself in the Ganges.
My first work for this residency program at Ram Chhatpar Ship Nyas was to dissolve washi paper, which I made in Japan and brought here, in the Ganges flowing across the central part of the city. And, the main work done in the latter residency period was produced while soaking myself in the Ganges with the use of local paper materials(egg case palp ,　dried cowpat).
During the residency period, in addition to the paper works done in the Ganges and video works recording them, I tried some approaches to conditions different from what I had experienced in Japan. They are taken in the works made by burying into cement paper (which, though small amount, I found after making efforts to discover Indian handmade paper culture since I arrived in India), collaborated works, drawings, etc.
And, as shown below, I presented almost all the works made during the stay with production dates to report the working process and results at the exhibition “GANGA・PAPER” (Banaras Hindu University Art Gallery) held for final days of the residency period:
